Mother’s Day, it’s a day to celebrate you. It’s a day that we take extra care of you because you deserve it all the time. It’s good to have a day that you can feel even more special than what you are. Hardworking, perseverant, charismatic, demanding of yourself and grateful. Those are traits that I took from you and that helped me become the man that I am today.

It wasn’t always easy growing up with you because we are both stubborn, but the older we got we became good friends. You guided me and still are guiding me through a lot of stuff. Your opinion matters because I always want to make you proud. You are the backbone of the family. You were able to raise 3 boys and 1 girl with the help of dad and never let anybody down once. You are a symbol of perseverance to all of us.

Not only in football by you always looked for my best interest and never wanted to let me down with anything. I’ll never forget the support you gave me through tough decisions just by saying the right things and blessing me with prayers. When I left home at 16 to go to prep school in the states. I was nervous about a lot of things, language barrier, football, school etc. By reminding me that we are a like and we always come out on top, it allowed me to be confident in everything I did.

One word to describe our relations is Love. You mean a lot to me because she showed me how love is supposed to be.

Love you mom, you can’t be stopped!

Your son.
