Quick 10 W/Lorenzo
Quick 10 is brought to you by K.Noah Teamwear.
During this segment we chat with members of the locker room for some quick shooters to get to know who they are. In this edition of Quick 10 we chop it up with Lorenzo Melchiorre, newly signed WR for the Helsinki Roosters
1. Pancakes, French toast, waffles or not a big breakfast guy?
-Between the three I gotta go with French toast. But nothing beats a good bacon egg and cheese!
2. Favorite gameday song?
-Man this is tough. I have a whole playlist of songs just for game day, but one that just flips the switch for me is - Star: by IDK. Every time I hear it, I just get jacked up!
3. If you had to play another professional sport overseas, what would it be?
⁃ I would have to go with soccer, because their fans are insane and I would want a glimpse of how it feels to be a god(aka Messi),especially after witnessing it in Barcelona!
4. 15 minutes of fame or staying behind the scenes?
-15 minutes of fame, I don’t mind a little spotlight.
5. Funniest teammate you've played with Overseas?
-I’ve played with a bunch of characters overseas, but one of the funniest on the field, in the locker room, and a night out singing karaoke was Javi Gutierrez, with the Dracs!
6. Your favorite professional athlete outside of football?
-I have to go with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! I grew up obsessed with the WWF/WWE, to the point I was taking any and every picture raising my eyebrow, including my elementary class photo. Still just as big of a fan of him to this day!
7. Most underrated sports movie?
-This is a tough one, but it’s Friday Night Lights for me. I don’t think the Permian Panthers get enough respect. “Ya’ll wanna win, let Boobie spin!”
8. Top 3 WR All-Time?
-I respect the goats, but these are my all time Top 3 WR. 1. Hines Ward 2. Randy Moss 3. Larry Fitzgerald
9. Top 3 countries you've visted overseas?
-Spain, Italy, and Switzerland
10. What do you know about Helsinki and what are you looking forward to seeing when you get there?
-I don’t have much of a background on Helsinki besides that there’s a pretty good football team called the Roosters! But I look forward to seeing what the Scandinavian Peninsula culture is like in comparison to what I’m used to. Being that I’m italian , Puerto Rican and Mexican, and I lived in Italy and Spain, both cultures I’m pretty accustomed too.
I’m super excited for this season, and have very high hopes. I’m pumped to be a part of such a dominant program, and can’t wait to add to it! Get ready for an exciting season, I’m coming with a lot of energy and focused on us chasing that ring! Let’s Rock Roosters!
