So, what's next?

You’d be surprised what happens when you get out of your comfort zone. March of 2015, I took a chance on the game of football by signing with the Calanda Broncos of Chur Switzerland for an opportunity to play professional football overseas. I landed in Zurich not knowing anything about the country, the culture, or what I was getting myself into. Fast forward to July of 2018, and I was leaving the country with my 2nd Swiss bowl championship in 3 seasons (and I still do not know much German), travelled to 18 countries and made friendships to last a lifetime.
People always ask me what it was like to live and play football in another country and my response was always “it’s one thing for me to tell you, but it’s another thing to actually go.” As I look back on those 3 seasons, I was fortunate enough to meet some incredible people, play for great organization/one of the best in Europe, and create so many memories on and off the field; Chur, Switzerland became my home away from home. So, what’s next?

I’m excited to share my new project with you all. The Athletes Forum was created to be a voice for International athletes (coaches, team, etc.). Consider it to be like the international locker-room where stories/experiences are shared from a first-person context. For those who ask or ponder about life in another country as a professional athlete or coach, we want to be able to bring the audience in and answer those questions with unique content right from the source.
Let us be your morning coffee read. I am excited to work with the athletes and coaches out there and to not only create but share great content with you.
